Sailing the Parramatta River between Putney and Rhodes since 1945. Sitting on the foreshore of the west stretch of the beautiful Parramatta River, the Concord Ryde Sailing Club (CRSC) is a one of the most established sailing clubs in Sydney, bringing together people from all walks of life, families, and kids near and far to enjoy the fun of sailing sport.
Core to CRSC is our family orientation and commitment to helping children and adults become skilled in the principles of sailing. We’re known as a family friendly, inter-generational sailing community, and a great place to learn to sail. Our season runs from September every year till April the next year, with extensive training programs on offer for both adults and children. Come and join us to discover sailing on Parramatta River!
The Concord and Ryde Sailing Club is committed to a person’s right to be treated with respect and dignity, and to be safe from discrimination, harassment, and abuse. We have policies in place which inform people of their legal and ethical rights and responsibilities and the standards of behavior expected of them. These policies also cover the care and protection of children participating in the club’s activities.
Located in Bennelong Park Putney on the corner of Yaralla Road and Waterview Street, CRSC is just 10 minutes north of the M4 Homebush Bay exit, or a 10-minute walk along the Parramatta River from Meadowbank Railway Station, or a 5-minute walk from Kissing Point Ferry Wharf.
Bennelong Park provides an expansive rigging and off-street parking area for cars and trailers when the club is operational.
Our clubhouse is open at 9:00 am on Saturdays from September to April. We have a canteen where you can purchase lunch and drinks. CRSC does not have poker machines nor a licensed bar.
