Our Youth 15+ and adult Start Sailing program is designed to provide a safe and enjoyable introduction to dinghy sailing for adults 15 years and over.

The club supplies training dinghies and Personal Flotation Devices (PFDs). Trainees need to protect themselves with sunscreen and wear hats, tops, shorts plus old sandshoes/sneakers or aquatic footwear. You need to bring a towel and change of clothes. For safety reasons, footwear is compulsory around the club, rigging area and whilst sailing.
There are three separate courses, for Adult sailors with our courses running for 8 weeks each and are as follows:

Both junior and adult courses are held over the same 8 consecutive weeks. Each course is conducted on Saturday mornings from 9am to 12pm.
The fees for the course are $345 for Students and $575 for adults.
CRSC current Members - a 10% discount is available to current members and those listed on their membership. Just enter the discount code “member10” at the discount prompt when enrolling.
returning Trainees - a 10% discount is available to trainees returning for another course.
Non-Members – a 10% discount is available where 2 or more of the same family members are enrolled. Just enter the discount code "SAVE10" when registering
Any person aged up to 18 years of age enrolled in school, or secondary school education in TAFE NSW or home schooling, can use their Active Kids Voucher for this learn to sail course.
Dinghies used for the Youth 15+ & Adult course are our Spiral and Heron dinghies.
Course training added benefit - At no additional cost, graduates from all courses may continue to use club dinghies in the same season in our Intermediate lunchtime races to improve their on-water skills (subject to dinghy availability).
